buy Sig srd9 You’re welcome for the holiday alliteration. Sig Sauer has advertised their 9mm and .45 caliber pistol suppressors for at least two years with only limited consumer availability. Until a few days ago that is. Silencer Shop just announced that the Sig silencers are now in stock and available for purchase, opening the door to some real-world sound comparisons.

Dubbed the SRD9 and SRD45 respectively, the pair are nearly indistinguishable from each other aside from a slight length a weight difference. Both feature encapsulated and removable baffles for easy cleaning and maintenance. Sig is also offering up the SRD line with two pistons included – a standard version and a metric version. As long as the SRD puts up some solid decibel reduction numbers, it’s a great deal.If wanting to add a durable .45 caliber pistol suppressor to your collection, the Sig Sauer SRD 45 silencer is a premier option. Comprised of a grade 9 titanium tube and 17-4 stainless steel baffles, its length (just under 8”) and weight (12 ounces) provide the shooter maneuverability and sturdiness in one package. In other words, this direct-thread can is designed to dish out punishment, as well as receive it.
Nestled in New Hampshire, the name “Sig Sauer” is somewhat new to the suppressor manufacturing market, but the team undoubtedly holds an abundance of cutting-edge ideas and has quickly carved a respected reputation industry-wide. All silencer enthusiasts should keep an eye (and ear) out for more distinct and impressive cans from the Sig Sauer camp moving forward.
Following the Sig Sauer SRD 9’s lead, the SRD 45 suppressor ships with BOTH a .578×28 piston and an m16x1LH piston in the box to cover any modern tilting-barrel type pistol. In addition, fixed-barrel spacers are also available separately for fixed-barrel systems. The SRD 45’s price tag was already one heck of a deal, but with these included accessories, it only makes sense (and cents) to claim this silencer. If wanting to add a durable .45 caliber pistol suppressor to your collection, the Sig Sauer SRD 45 silencer is a premier option. Let’s start off with a brief description of what you need to consider, based on what firearm host or hosts you might be using. Pistol suppressors have their own subcategories because they can be optimized for a handgun, or for a 9mm rifle, but also have the unique ability to be run on either.
Rifle: If you are looking to run your suppressor on a PCC (pistol caliber carbine) or 9mm rifle, or really any host firearm with a barrel that doesn’t move, a booster assembly is not necessary, and a larger diameter silencer can provide increased sound reduction without adding additional length to your set up.
Handgun: Alternatively, if you have a handgun you want to suppress, a smaller diameter suppressor will help you still be able to use your handgun’s sights. Usually, for optimized performance, suppressors that tend to be a little lighter help to not disrupt the balance of the gun.
Rifle and Handgun: Sometimes we have customers looking to suppress both 9mm rifles and handguns. If you’re in this category, we tend to recommend a modular suppressor with an average diameter that allows a clear sight picture on your handgun while also providing optimal suppression on your rifle.
